Peran Pendidikan Karakter dalam Pembentukan Akhlak Siswa di Sekolah Dasar

This study explores the role of character education in shaping the moral development and akhlak (ethics) of elementary school students in Indonesia. Character education is an essential aspect of the educational process that aims to instill positive values, attitudes, and behaviors in children. The research identifies key components of character education programs that have proven to be effective in fostering good character and ethical behavior in students, including respect, responsibility, and integrity. The study concludes that school culture, teacher involvement, and active student participation are crucial factors in successfully implementing character education programs. The findings emphasize that character education should be integrated across the curriculum and supported by both school leadership and community involvement to nurture students' moral development.
